Columbus, Ohio – From Central Ohio throughout the southeast, the Romanoff Group has been expanding at an astounding rate since its founding in 1992 – but Gahanna is home. Thanks to the company’s success and growing demand in the specialized electrical and heating & cooling services industry, the time is right for additional expansion. With a $1.25 million investment, Romanoff Group is increasing their footprint in Gahanna and boosting jobs at their HQ by more than 40 percent.

“Partnerships with the City is of central importance to us,” said Romanoff Group Chief Executive Officer Matt Romanoff.  “For several years, we have been looking at ways to give back to our own community, one we have been firmly rooted in since 2000, and this relationship is a tremendous victory for all involved. Bridging the gap between strong local talent and Romanoff career opportunities is critical to building a thriving economy, and we are excited to be a part of it.”

Pending state and local approvals, the new headquarters would shift from Research Road in Gahanna to a new 61,250 square foot building at 977 Gahanna Parkway. In 2017, the Romanoff Group sold 100% of the company to it employees making the company 100% employee-owned thus ensuring the culture, values and mission of the company can continue long into the future, and all in Gahanna.

“The Romanoff Group has been a key member of our Gahanna community,” said Laurie Jadwin, Mayor of Gahanna. “By choosing to expand their headquarters here, they are reaffirming that our growing city is on the rise and is a welcome place to do business.”

With the continued growth across the Columbus Region, there has been an increased demand for both commercial and residential electric & HVAC support. That success for the Romanoff Group is good news not just for this Gahanna-based company, but for the construction and contractor relationships across the region.

“Ohio’s success relies upon homegrown companies like the Romanoff Group choosing to expand in their own back yard,” said J.P. Nauseef, JobsOhio president and CEO. “Their strong business model has boosted their national footprint, and that success will only grow in Gahanna.”
