AEP Ohio

AEP Ohio is based in Gahanna, Ohio, and is a unit of American Electric Power. AEP Ohio provides electricity to 1.5 million customers. AEP is powering a cleaner, brighter energy future for its customers and communities, maintaining the nation’s largest electricity transmission system and more than 224,000 miles of distribution lines to safely deliver reliable and affordable power to 5.5 million regulated customers in 11 states.

Columbia Gas of Ohio

Headquartered in Columbus, Columbia Gas of Ohio is the largest provider of natural gas service in the state. They one of the six energy delivery companies of NiSource, who together provide essential natural gas and electric service to nearly 4 million customers across six states.

Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives

Twenty-five electric cooperatives serve members in the state of Ohio. Collectively, Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives serve more than 380,000 homes and businesses in 77 of Ohio’s 88 counties, including the Columbus Region.

Solar

Ohio, including the Columbus Region, continues to transition to more clean energy and understands the importance of a mix of electric generation sourcing. New solar farms continue to be announced across the state, including Franklin County’s largest solar farm, one of two major Columbus-area solar farms recently approved.
