Columbus, Ohio – When Aunt Flow began in 2016, CEO Claire Coder was 18 years old and traveling door to door to businesses in downtown Columbus. Today, Aunt Flow’s period product machines can be found in locations across the United States, Canada, and even in the United Kingdom. Today, they announce the addition of 19 new employees by the end of 2025 that will help take this revolutionary company to the next level.

Aunt Flow was founded on the belief that if toilet paper is offered for free, then period products should be as well. The passion for their mission has allowed for their product to be found in restaurants, retail stores, private companies, and schools, providing organic cotton tampons and pads to anyone who needs one.

“Our company’s mission for making the world better for people with periods has collided with a genuine need in the marketplace,” said Coder. “We’re shifting the conversation so no one goes without a period product. That success has allowed for our continued growth to happen right here in Columbus.”

The company’s investment of $600,000 will train the 19 new positions in Columbus. Upcoming career opportunities will be available in sales, marketing, operations, and administrative positions. Interested individuals can visit GoAuntFlow.com/Careers/.

“Aunt Flow continues to achieve an incredible impact on the well-being of our community and communities all across the nation,” said Andrew J. Ginther, mayor of Columbus. “Their hard work and dedication have resulted in both great success and a robust presence in businesses and schools throughout Columbus. I look forward to seeing their footprint continue to grow in the years to come.”

In addition to their sales efforts, Aunt Flow also operates a donation program where for every ten products they sell, they donate one to a menstruator in need. In 2022, Aunt Flow donated over 1.6 million products to menstruators in need.

“It’s this kind of ingenuity and dedication that has established Ohio as a home for innovation,” said JP Nauseef, President and CEO, JobsOhio. “Their ability to so quickly expand their market not just here in the United States, but overseas, makes them another Ohio success story.”
