Western Alliance Bank Expands into the Columbus Region, Creating 150 New Jobs at New Technology Hub

Columbus, Ohio (January 9, 2023)Western Alliance Bank, the primary subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, one of the country’s top-performing banks with more than $65 billion in assets, announced an expansion into Westerville, Ohio, investing $2.2 million and creating 150 jobs for a new technology hub. The company is currently growing its technology organization by hiring data analysts, engineers, developers, network operators, management, finance specialists and others. 

To support the bank’s rapidly expanding products and business segments, the company’s IT division is establishing a workforce in new geographies, like Westerville, to enable acquisition and retention of world-class data analytics, cyber security, software development, finance and IT talent. The banking company has nearly 3,400 full-time employees across its offices and is adding 150 positions with this expansion into the Columbus Region.
