Columbus, Ohio (April 12, 2022) – Consultant Connect, a consulting agency designed to bridge the gap between economic developers and site consultants, today announced that Deb Scherer, managing director of global trade and investment at One Columbus, was named among North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers of 2022.
As managing director of global trade and investment, Deb works to identify foreign-owned companies interested in expanding in the U.S. and helps them evaluate why the Columbus Region is a location of choice for a U.S. facility. She also helps companies based in the Region connect with training and resources that will help them with sales abroad. Deb has expertise working with companies that are based outside of North America and has extensively worked with business leaders in Japan, China, the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries on new operations and expansions in the Columbus Region.

The economic development professionals selected for the Consultant Connect North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers of 2022 list were nominated by their colleagues in the economic development industry and the site consultant community for excellent practices, innovation and success in building the communities they serve.
