Columbus, OH – USA Vinyl, LLC, one of the leading wholesale manufacturers of vinyl fencing and vinyl garden products in the country, announced it will invest $2.5 million in the Columbus Region, starting with a move to a 60,000-square-foot facility in Groveport. The new operation will add 25 new jobs over the next three years.

“We’re fortunate for our rapid growth and excited for the opportunities the new facility will bring our business,” said Brad Halley, president of USA Vinyl. “This relocation and expansion is an opportunity to expand USA Vinyl’s footprint and influence on the local economy.”

Upon completion of building modifications at the new facility, USA Vinyl will move all of its operations to the Groveport location and eventually double its existing workforce. The company currently occupies a 24,000-square-foot facility in Hilliard.

USA Vinyl received incentives from the State of Ohio and the City of Groveport as part of its agreement to keep its operations in Ohio over other Midwestern states, according to Halley.

“We are happy to welcome USA Vinyl to the City of Groveport,” said Jeff Green, director of finance and assistant city administrator, City of Groveport. “They are going to be a great addition to our business community and the community will benefit from their job creation and commitment to being a good corporate citizen.”

Manufacturing is a growing sector in the Columbus Region, employing more than 80,000 people in the 11-county region and contributing $9.1 billion to the regional economic output. The Region provides current and prospective manufacturers one-day access to 50 percent of the U.S. and Canadian population, a talented and educated workforce, and world-class resources like Edison Welding Institute (EWI) and the Ohio Manufacturing Institute (OMI) at The Ohio State University.

“Expanding another local company in our already strong manufacturing sector proves that the Columbus Region is an ideal location for the industry,” said Kenny McDonald, chief economic officer, Columbus 2020. “We congratulate USA Vinyl on their expansion and look forward to helping them grow.”
