The Shipyard Investing in New Equipment, Doubling Workforce by 2017

Columbus, OH –, LLC, DBA The Shipyard, a digital marketing company specializing in web technology and optimization tactics, has announced it will double its 50-employee workforce over the next three years. The company will also invest $200,000 in new equipment while strengthening its focus on the financial services industry and companies with national brands that require a local focus.

“The Columbus Region is the ideal spot for us to grow our business and workforce, as it provides access to the specific type of technology and creative talent we are seeking,” said Ben Clarke, President. “We are excited for this expansion and significant jobs boost, and look forward to even more growth in the future.”

The company’s investment will include the purchase of new computers, servers and other technical equipment. The addition of 50 jobs will include web developers, creative developers, design engineers, management and sales positions.
