Columbus, Ohio – SICCET USA, the American subsidiary of Italy-based SICCET SRL, has announced plans to establish its first manufacturing facility in the United States with the launch of a 20,000-square-foot operation in Grove City. The company will manufacture high-performance cables that help monitor and control temperature in demanding environments like aircraft engines, power plants, and industrial food equipment.
The $2 million investment will create 15 new jobs in Franklin County and reflects growing demand for specialized components in America’s manufacturing resurgence. The Columbus Region’s central location and strong logistics network are key advantages for companies like SICCET USA looking to serve customers across the Midwest and East Coast.
“SICCET USA is proud to begin our U.S. manufacturing journey in Grove City,” said Ivan Dall’Armellina, President of SICCET USA and co-owner of SICCET SRL. “This location offers strong infrastructure, a collaborative business environment, and proximity to key markets that are vital for our long-term growth. Columbus is a growing and multicultural region with a workforce shaped by a wide range of industries and education partners. This environment supports the kind of skilled team we need as we expand in the United States.”
A trusted supplier of temperature sensor cable solutions in Europe, SICCET is expanding to the United States to better serve its growing North American customer base. The company brings decades of expertise in thermocouple and RTD cable manufacturing, which plays a critical role in the performance and precision of modern industrial systems. As the Columbus Region’s advanced manufacturing base evolves, specialized suppliers like SICCET are helping to meet the rising bar for speed, accuracy and efficiency on the factory floor.
“Grove City is proud to welcome SICCET USA as the newest member of our growing manufacturing base,” said Richard “Ike” Stage, mayor of Grove City. “More companies are discovering that Grove City offers the right mix of location, workforce development and long-term support. We look forward to being part of Siccet’s success as they build their U.S. presence here.”
The decision by Siccet to launch its U.S. operations in the Columbus Region reflects a broader trend of international companies investing here to gain a foothold in the North American market. Foreign direct investment continues to be a key driver of regional growth, with more than one-third of companies currently exploring new projects in the Columbus Region backed by international firms.
“Global manufacturers are choosing the Columbus Region as their launch point into the U.S. market,” said Deborah Scherer, senior vice president of global trade and investment at the Columbus Partnership. “SICCET’s investment reflects confidence in our logistics network, our industrial capabilities and our ability to help international companies scale quickly in North America. Foreign direct investment continues to elevate our regional economy and expand our global footprint.”
“SICCET’s decision to establish its first U.S. production facility in Grove City demonstrates Ohio’s value proposition for businesses that are seeing a surge in demand for high-performance industrial components,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “Ohio’s workforce, infrastructure and global reach continue to attract world-class manufacturers looking to serve North American markets, and we look forward to partnering with SICCET to power this growth.”
