Pactiv, LLC to Invest $4.5 Million to Grow Columbus Facility, Offering New Jobs

Columbus, OH –Pactiv, LLC, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of food packaging and foodservice products, today announced a $4.5 million investment in their Columbus facility on Westbelt Drive. The investment will be used to add at least two new production lines and will bring 65 manufacturing jobs to the Columbus Region.

“We’re committed to innovation and growth that meets our customers’ needs,” said Pactiv President and CEO, John McGrath. “Our success in Columbus has given us the confidence to keep growing here.”

Several types of jobs will be added, including machine operators, foremen/leads, material handlers, clerks, mechanics and maintenance personnel as well as high-level management positions. Hiring will begin in the first quarter of 2016.

Operating costs, proximity to market and available capacity were key factors in the company’s decision to expand in Columbus.
