Columbus, Ohio – Godman Guild Association, a nonprofit organization that provides programs to enhance the social and economic mobility of individuals and families in Central Ohio, announced today the appointment of David White to its board of trustees.
In his role as regional talent manager at One Columbus, David White serves as a talent and workforce expert in the development of proposals for companies seeking to expand existing operations or to introduce new operations to a community in the Columbus Region. He also consults with regional companies and their talent needs, facilitating connections and dialogue among various private, public, state and nonprofit resources.
“Godman Guild Association’s mission to aligns closely with One Columbus’ vision to become the most prosperous region in the United States,” said Kenny McDonald, president and CEO of One Columbus. “The parallels between the goals of our two organizations position David well to successfully serve both One Columbus and Godman Guild as we collectively work toward a stronger and more prosperous community.”
Prior to joining One Columbus, White worked for over ten years in the private sector, largely focusing on human resources and talent acquisition. Through varied and diverse roles, he also has significant experience in operations, project management and corporate IT support. He also previously served as a founding board member for Peace of Thread, an Atlanta based non-profit.
White is deeply involved in the Columbus community, serving as a mentor at the Licking County Educational Service Center and previously serving as a mentor for the Fintech 71 accelerator. He is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and a member of the Human Resources Associate of Central Ohio.
