New Entrant into Columbus Market Will Bring 50 New, Well-Paying Jobs

Columbus, Ohio – Longship, otherwise known as Quality Logistics LLC, a leading third-party logistics company specializing in over-the-road truckloads of fresh, frozen, and dry shipments, today announced its plans to expand operations into Columbus, Ohio. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the company as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the logistics industry and capitalize on its recent growth trajectory.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, Longship has established itself as a key player in the logistics and distribution sector, leveraging technology and expertise to cater to the specific needs of its customers. With a focus on the refrigerated distribution market, the company has experienced substantial revenue growth.

The expansion project will bring significant investment and job opportunities to the Columbus area. Longship plans to create 50 new full-time positions, including roles in sales, leadership, operations, and administrative. With a total new payroll of $3,570,000 and an average salary of $71,400, the company is committed to providing high-quality employment opportunities.

This new project will include renovations of an office space in the Easton area. Hiring is expected to begin in the 3rd quarter of 2024.
