FCX Performance to Expand Columbus Region Presence, Boost Workforce by 30 Percent

July 29, 2013

Columbus, OH – FCX Performance, Inc., a leading provider of process flow control solutions, has announced it will invest with affiliated companies in leasehold improvements, machinery and equipment acquisition to expand its presence in the Columbus Region – leasing additional space near its existing facility and adding 19 jobs to its 64-employee workforce.

“The Columbus Region offers an ideal location for our operations, given its access to key customers and skilled workforce,” said Charles Hale, president, FCX Performance. “Those attributes have helped to facilitate FCX’s success, so it’s only fitting to stay in the Region as we embark on the next stage of the company’s growth.”

The company, which is currently headquartered on the east side of Columbus, plans to lease an additional facility to accommodate its recent growth. The new space will be located near the company’s existing facility and will house sales, technical support and customer service operations. Along with the facility expansion, FCX Performance will add 19 employees over the next three years.

Positions will include sales, administrative and valve and instrument repair technicians. Hiring is expected to begin immediately.

“Whenever we see a company investing and adding jobs in Columbus, it’s a testament to the value we’re able to offer growing businesses,” said Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman. “This expansion further strengthens our economy while providing new employment opportunities for our residents.”
