August 25, 2014

Columbus, OH – ELOQUII Design, Inc, which designs and sells contemporary apparel for women sizes 14-24, has announced it will expand its presence in downtown Columbus. The company’s commitment will also include the addition of 40 new jobs, increasing its workforce seven-fold in the next three years.

“The Columbus Region continues to be recognized nationally as a fashion hub, so expanding our presence here is the right move,” said Steve Zawada, executive vice president & chief operating officer, ELOQUII. “The Region has attracted many other retail-based companies and has shown it has the talent to support the corresponding jobs. We are excited for this next step in ELOQUII’s growth.”

ELOQUII will add 40 new jobs to its current Columbus Region workforce of six employees, with positions including everything from buying/merchandising and planning/allocation to information technology. Hiring is expected to begin in 2014, with all new jobs added by 2017.

“Columbus has been ranked right alongside New York and Los Angeles as a fashion hub, and we have shown we can cultivate both major retailers and niche emerging businesses like ELOQUII,” said Mayor Michael B. Coleman. “Announcements like this prove that Columbus is a competitive, major metropolitan area. We look forward to even more positive news.”
