Columbus 2020 Hires Executive Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the CEO

Columbus, OH – Columbus 2020 announced today the hiring of Kelly Winzenread as executive coordinator and Mallory Mitchell as executive assistant to the CEO. As the executive coordinator, Winzenread will focus on planning investor events, international delegations, business roundtables and community meetings. Mitchell will work closely with Columbus 2020 President and Chief Economic Officer Kenny McDonald, arranging national and international travel, coordinating meetings and one-on-one appointments and maintaining board of directors records.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kelly and Mallory to the Columbus 2020 team,” said Kenny McDonald, president and chief economic officer, Columbus 2020. “They each bring a strong background, experience with many of our community partners and a passion for the Columbus 2020 mission.”

Winzenread joins Columbus 2020from Fahlgren Mortine, where she held the position of account supervisor, leading one of the agency’s largest accounts. In this role she managed the annual budget and led multiple marketing campaigns. She was also an associate program manager at Ryan Partnership and an events and marketing coordinator at Experience Columbus. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Ohio University.

Prior to joining Columbus 2020, Mitchell was the executive assistant to Senior Advisor Archie Griffin at The Ohio State University Office of Advancement, where she was responsible for time management and scheduling. She was also a scheduler at the City of Columbus and assistant director of scheduling for the Office of the President at The Ohio State University. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The Ohio State University, as well as a certification in nonprofit leadership.
