Columbus 2020 Appoints Kristi Tanner to Board of Directors

Columbus, OH – Columbus 2020 today announced the appointment of Kristi Tanner to its board of directors.

Tanner is JobsOhio’s managing director for automotive, steel and appliances. She played an essential role in the startup of JobsOhio, the private, non-profit corporation designed to drive job creation and new capital investment in Ohio through business attraction, retention and expansion efforts.

“Kristi Tanner has extensive experience in leading economic development efforts at local, regional and state levels,” said Kenny McDonald, chief economic officer, Columbus 2020, and president, Columbus 2020 Board of Directors. “JobsOhio is an important partner to Columbus 2020, and Kristi will be a tremendous asset to our board.”

Tanner joins 12 other private and public-sector leaders in helping to guide the Columbus 2020 Regional Growth Strategy.
