Columbus 2020 Adds Three to Board of Directors

Columbus, OH – Columbus 2020, the economic development organization for the 11-county Columbus Region, announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors.

The Columbus 2020 Board is composed of private and public-sector leaders that guide the Columbus 2020 Regional Growth Strategy, which aims to strengthen, grow and diversify the Columbus Region economy.

New to the Board of Directors are: Andrew Ginther, Mayor of the City of Columbus; Corrine Burger, Chief Control Officer for Chase Consumer and Community Banking; and Robert H. Schottenstein, Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of M/I Homes, Inc.

Prior to being sworn in as Mayor of Columbus in January 2016, Mayor Ginther served on the Columbus City Council since 2007 and was the President of the Council since 2011. During that time, Columbus led the Midwest in job creation and the nation in wage growth while reducing expenses and saving more than $260 million.

Corrine Burger is Chief Control Officer at Chase. She also serves as Columbus site leader, supporting the firm’s local workforce and real estate portfolio. She has been with JPMorgan Chase for more than 25 years, serving in several leadership positions supporting the firm’s businesses. She was at Deloitte & Touche in Phoenix prior to joining JPMorgan Chase. Corrine lives in Dublin with her husband Joe and two high school sons. They also have a son who resides in Chicago and a daughter who is a recent graduate from the University of Dayton.

Robert H. Schottenstein serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of Columbus-based M/I Homes, Inc., one of the country’s largest homebuilders. He is also a member of The Columbus Partnership and serves on The Ohio State University Foundation Board, the Board of Installed Building Products, Inc., the Pelotonia Board and the Executive Committee of The Policy Advisory Board of Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing.
