Columbus, OH –The Columbus Partnership is pleased to announce Andy Gurd has joined the team as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations. In his new role, Gurd will lead engagement and fundraising efforts, playing a crucial role in driving development initiatives across the Partnership’s platform.
Gurd brings a wealth of experience to his new position with the organization, most recently serving as a Partner at Centric Consulting where he worked with high profile Columbus brands.
“This is an incredible opportunity that will allow me to continue and broaden our relationships with the companies who have made it their mission to build a stronger Columbus Region,” said Gurd. “I couldn’t be more excited to join this talented team and do my part to add value to the vital mission of the Columbus Partnership, One Columbus, and Smart Columbus.”
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Gurd is a graduate of the Ohio State University where he became a key member of the football team as a multi-year starter at linebacker and was named to the academic all-Big Ten team. Later, he joined the Ohio State Alumni Association where he rose to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
