Based in Central Ohio, Tosoh operates a collection of diverse companies selling into the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, medical, dental, paints and coatings industries. With the intention of operating in these businesses for decades to come, our employees have come to appreciate that our pace of investment and growth is steady with a focus on niche areas where high quality and reliability are valued. Tosoh Corporation of Tokyo, Japan began selling in the United States in 1964. The first investment in Central Ohio came in 1988 with the acquisition of a company manufacturing products for the semiconductor industry in Grove City. With reasonable land prices and cost of living, a loyal workforce, local universities, two airports and ready access to interstate highways, Tosoh quickly found Central Ohio to be an ideal location to invest in as “home.” We aspire to be good corporate citizens within the community rather than a company simply located in the region.
