Columbus, OH – SK Infrared, a semiconductor company that designs, develops and tests state-of-the-art infrared detectors for government and commercial applications, announced its plans to bring 19 new jobs to Columbus. The company will be located at Rev1 Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund that provides entrepreneurs with services, space and funding. Hiring for engineers and technicians is expected to begin in late summer 2017.
“Locating in Columbus allows us to better position our company for success,” said Earl Fuller, CEO of SK Infrared. “The growing economy, partnerships with local institutions and access to startup resources all played a role in our decision.”
SK Infrared develops high performance detectors and sensors for use across a variety of commercial, military and medical operations.
