MEMORIAL DAY 2024

May 29, 2024

“Americans may not only pay tribute to our honored dead but also unite in prayer for success in our search for a just and lasting peace.”
– John F. Kennedy, “Prayer for Peace,” Memorial Day 1962

MEMORIAL DAY 2024

On this solemn day, leaders will make speeches and extend their gratitude in public, others will do so privately, reflecting on those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to our nation and changed the trajectory of their families. They will remember parents, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, neighbors, and friends who have not returned.

Let us encourage others to extend grace and appreciation to those who have served, those who continue to serve, and their families. Let us honor the soldiers who have not returned and those who came back forever changed by their experiences. Their sacrifice for all of us should be revered and reciprocated with our deepest gratitude.

May we continue to be blessed by those who protect our freedoms on the frontlines and through their leadership. May the strength of the United States invite and extend peace to all people around the world.

Let’s have a great week, lift each other up, and move forward in their honor.
