Progressive Medical, Columbus Region to Add 125 Jobs as Part of $3 Million Westerville Expansion

December 12, 2012

Columbus, OH – Progressive Medical, Inc., today announced it will add 125 new jobs over the next three years as part of a $3 million expansion at its Westerville headquarters. The expansion adds to the Columbus Region’s robust healthcare sector, which employs more than 50,000 people in the 11-county region. The Region has added more than 5,500 new healthcare jobs in 2012.

“We’re happy to grow our business and to pledge our commitment to the Westerville community,” said Emry Sisson, co-chief executive officer of Progressive Medical. “Not only does this create an opportunity for us to offer advancement opportunities to our existing team members; it enhances our organization by adding the talent we need to provide excellent customer service, as we add new relationships and innovative new product offerings in the years to come.”

Progressive Medical, a pharmacy benefit manager and ancillary services provider for the workers’ compensation and auto no-fault industries, chose to expand in Ohio instead of other states, including Tennessee and Utah. The majority of the company’s more than 430 associates in Ohio work at the company’s headquarters in Westerville.

“The City of Westerville is fortunate to help Progressive Medical grow within the Columbus Region,” said David Collinsworth, city manager, City of Westerville. “Job creation and financial investments like this are vital to building our local economy and making Westerville a better place to work and live.”
