Columbus, OH – ContactUS, a leader in the business process outsourcing (BPO) space, has announced it will expand to a second Columbus Region location and add 350 full-time jobs in the next three years. With this investment and hiring commitment, ContactUS will increase its current workforce more than three-fold by 2017.

“ContactUS has seen a rapid and sustained increase in its client base, prompting the need to expand to a second location and boost our workforce significantly in the next few years,” said Trevor Friesen, president, ContactUS. “Being headquartered in the Columbus Region, we’re pleased to be able to stay local for the company’s next chapter of growth.”

The company’s $4 million investment includes allocations for workforce training as well as building acquisition and improvement costs for its new facility, set to be located at 3700 Fishinger Boulevard on the west side of Columbus. The investment is contingent upon state approvals, to be finalized February 24. The new facility will complement ContactUS’ existing location at 1108 City Park Avenue, in the city’s German Village neighborhood.

ContactUS has committed to create 350 new, full-time jobs with this expansion. Hiring for the call center- related positions is expected to begin this summer, with all openings filled by 2017. This latest investment is in addition to the company’s 2012 commitment of 150 new jobs, for which hiring is underway and is nearing completion.

“We are ecstatic that ContactUS is investing in a new facility and additional employees, even beyond its original commitment,” said Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman. “This effort will bring a significant number of high-quality jobs to Columbus and continue to reinforce our role as a hub for technology.”
