Columbus, OH – Columbus 2020, the 11-county regional economic development entity, today announced the addition of Sean Grant as its chief administrative officer.
In the newly created position, Grant is responsible for providing executive oversight of the accounting and budget, human resources, insurance and real estate, information technology and investor relations operations. Working closely with Columbus 2020’s chief economic officer, Kenny McDonald, Grant will help to set the tone, direction and strategy for the organization.
“We are excited to welcome Sean Grant to the Columbus 2020 staff, and look forward to his insight and leadership,” said McDonald. “We continue to build an excellent team of experienced professionals in order to execute the region’s aggressive growth strategy.”
Grant joins Columbus 2020 after most recently serving as senior manager of operations support for PharmaForce, Inc., a multi-facility specialty pharmaceutical company founded in Columbus. His experience also includes a 16-year banking career, during which he was responsible for providing financial services expertise to businesses
A graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, Grant serves as a board member for Imagine Schools and has been involved in other community and civic organizations including the United Way, YMCA, Material Assistance Providers, the United Negro College Fund, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He resides in Pickerington (ZIP 43147).
