Long Island-Based SupplyHouse.com to Open a New Fulfillment Center in Columbus Region

December 3, 2014

Columbus, OH – SupplyHouse.com, an online retailer based in Long Island, NY, serving the plumbing, heating and HVAC marketplace, has announced its plans to open a fulfillment center in the Columbus Region. The company’s $300,000 commitment also will include the addition of 40 jobs in the next three years.

“We have been fortunate to experience rapid growth, which has led to the need to open up a new fulfillment center,” said Josh Meyerowitz, founder and CEO, SupplyHouse.com. “The Columbus Region’s prime market access and proximity to our customer base made it a top contender for our next location, and the area’s low operating costs for e-commerce sealed the deal.”

SupplyHouse.com plans to invest $300,000 in machinery and equipment in a proposed leased facility in the Columbus Region. Although no lease has been signed, the company is seeking approximately 87,000 square feet of space to house fulfillment operations. A city incentive for the project is expected to go before Columbus City Council for vote later this month.

Hiring for the company’s 40 new jobs is expected to begin in early 2015. The jobs will include pick/pack and receiving positions. Interested applicants are asked to contact jobs@supplyhouse.com.
