Columbus, OH – MBA Focus, a graduate recruitment management technology and career service software company based in Dublin, Ohio, has announced it will expand its operations and add a new line of business upon merging with CSO Research, an undergraduate career service software firm based in Austin, TX.
MBA Focus will invest $200,000 to expand its Dublin location and add more than 25 new jobs, doubling its current roster of 27 employees.
“The Columbus Region provides a strong anchor for growth nationwide, so we’re thrilled to expand here,” said Jack Gainer, CEO, MBA Focus. “Connecting employers with student talent is the heart of our business, and we’re excited to be seeking new talent for our own company.”
The company’s investment of $200,000 will be split between building costs and workforce training costs. The new jobs will include positions in marketing, sales, finance, software development and customer service. A city incentive for the expansion is expected to go before Dublin City Council for vote in August.
“We are proud of the company’s success in its industry and that it has selected Dublin for its expansion plans. Their decision provides great evidence of the competitiveness of the Columbus Region and Dublin for the IT industry,” said Colleen Gilger, director of economic development, City of Dublin.
MBA Focus uses advanced recruitment technology to connect students and alumni from more than 75 top-ranked MBA programs in the U.S. and abroad, while CSO Research provides software and services to connect employers with undergraduate students. Private equity firms have invested more than $10 million in the merger, which combines two leaders in college career service office technology and recruitment management technology. Together, MBA Focus and CSO Research have created the world’s leading network for matching students and employers.
