Columbus, OH – Vantage Point Logistics (VPL), which helps to reduce inbound shipping costs in the higher education industry, has announced it will invest $1.25 million to expand its Columbus Region operations with new software development. The company will also retain 10 jobs and add 20 new jobs over the next three years.

“The Columbus Region offers a high-quality workforce and accessibility to key higher education customers nearby and in other major markets,” said Eric McGlade, principal, VPL. “VPL is seeing tremendous sales growth and Central Ohio is the right spot to lead our expansion.”

VPL’s $1.25 million investment will go toward IT costs for new software development at its current location, inside TechColumbus at 1275 Kinnear Road. The additional 20 jobs, for which hiring will begin in the first quarter, will include software development, account management and back-office positions.
