Columbus, OH – Cintas Corporation – a leading supplier of corporate identity uniform programs, promotional products, restroom supplies, first aid, fire safety products and services, and industrial carpet and tile cleaning – today announced plans to invest $10.4 million in a new distribution center in Groveport, OH. The company will lease 217,000 square feet to create its first free-standing distribution center in 10 years. Cintas will add 69 jobs in picking, shipping and office operations. The company will begin hiring for those positions in March 2018. All positions will be posted at www.cintas.com/careers.
“As our business evolves, we are exploring ways to take better care of our valued customers and establishing a distribution presence is a key step,” said Terri Cain, vice president of Distribution, Production Planning and Replenishment at Cintas Corporation. “This new facility in the Columbus Region will allow Cintas Corporation to better and more efficiently serve our vast customer base.”
Headquartered in Cincinnati, Cintas plans to establish a distribution center in the Columbus Region to improve service nationwide. The Groveport facility features state of the art technology and processes.
