The Columbus Region is home to 56 college and university campuses with a total enrollment of more than 136,000 college and graduate students and more than 22,000 annual graduates.

The Ohio State University, the state’s flagship university and one of the largest in the U.S., has more than 57,000 students at its main campus in Columbus. The area also has a variety of liberal arts schools, community colleges, technical schools and art and design schools, contributing to one of the largest concentrations of college students in the country.

K-12 Education

The Columbus Region’s K-12 education options include schools that are ranked by U.S. News & World Report as top U.S. high schools, offer college preparatory curricula such as Advanced Placement and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, offer first-class extracurricular activities and athletics and have built-in internship programs.
