Columbus, Ohio

OPOC.us, the parent company of Centric HC, plans to create 200 new jobs as they expand their Worthington headquarters employee benefits and HR services company.

The company is doubling its workforce to scale with rising employer demand for more effective ways to manage healthcare costs and workforce administration.

Headquartered in Worthington, OPOC.us has nearly 200 team members and serves more than 1,500 companies across all 50 states. The company provides employee benefits, HR, payroll, wellness and retirement services to small, mid-sized and enterprise employers.

“OPOC was built on a simple belief: take care of people, and everything else gets better,” said Clark May, CEO of OPOC.us. “Expanding our headquarters in Worthington allows us to continue building the team and capabilities needed to support our growth and serve clients across the country.”

The expansion will add headquarters capacity as OPOC.us continues to grow its business nationwide. Rising employer demand for better cost control, employee support and more coordinated administration across benefits and workforce functions is fueling that expansion. OPOC.us’ model brings together health benefits, HR, payroll, wellness and retirement services through a single platform.

“Worthington is proud to be home to OPOC.us and excited to see the company continue growing here,” said David McCorkle, assistant city manager for the city of Worthington. “A national company expanding its headquarters in Worthington is meaningful for our community, our local economy and the people who will have the opportunity to build careers here.”

The decision to grow in Worthington reinforces the Columbus Region’s ability to support expanding headquarters operations with a strong talent base, business services ecosystem and access to customers across the country. The new jobs are expected to be added over the next several years as OPOC.us continues to build its corporate team and operational capacity.

“OPOC.us’ expansion is the kind of headquarters growth that creates lasting value for the Columbus Region,” said Jonas Peterson, chief economic development officer of the Columbus Partnership and president, One Columbus.  “When a company chooses to build its next phase of growth from here, it reflects the strength of our talent, our business environment and our capacity to support companies as they scale.”

“OPOC.us’ decision to expand in the Columbus Region will more than double the size of the workforce at its Worthington headquarters,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “This latest growth from a pioneering HR services company reinforces Ohio’s strength as a place where innovative companies can add talent and build for the future to meet their clients’ evolving needs.”

Company headquarters are located at 300 W. Wilson Bridge Road in Worthington.
