JobsOhio is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes job creation and economic development for Ohio. The JobsOhio Network> is comprised of six geographic regions with specific industry strengths and resources. One Columbus is the JobsOhio network partner for the Columbus Region.
The Ohio Development Services Agency works to support Ohio’s businesses as they maneuver in the global economy. Whether a company is established and looking to expand, ready to move from the lab to commercialization, or just beginning as a new small business, ODSA has resources to assist in the growth of Ohio companies.
The Columbus Chamber provides connections, resources and solutions to help businesses thrive by leveraging a customized, consultative approach to support members that range from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises.
The Columbus Partnership
The Columbus Partnership is a nonprofit, membership-based CEO organization of more than 65 CEOs from Columbus’ leading businesses and institutions. The Columbus Partnership’s primary goal is to improve the economic vitality of the Columbus Region.
Smart Columbus is a region-wide Smart City initiative co-led by the City of Columbus and the Columbus Partnership. Smart Columbus was founded after Columbus won the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) first-ever Smart City Challenge and received a total of $50 million in grant funding.
Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC)
The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is a voluntary association of Central Ohio governments which envisions and embraces innovative directions in transportation, energy, housing, land use, the environment and economic prosperity.
Rev1 Ventures helps entrepreneurs build great companies. With the capital of a VC and the connections of an accelerator, Rev1 supports startups through the first phases of growth to increase their probability of success. Their team of experts leads an ongoing, data-driven process that ensures entrepreneurs develop products people want, and companies people need.
