Why do you live in the Columbus Region?
Having lived in 5 states, 10 cities and 2 countries in my lifetime, I choose to live in the Columbus Region because no other place I have lived allows me the quality of life and experiences I have here. We have a smorgasbord of great food, events, universities and neighborhoods that allow you to experience things in a variety of ways. And the best part is that it’s still evolving and growing.
Why do you work in economic development?
I began my work in economic development when jobs were hard to find and the economy was still fighting to come out of the Great Recession. My hope at the time was that by being involved in economic development I could do my part to make a difference within an organization that was founded to combat this problem. I hope our work uplifts people and provides opportunities for folks to change their lives in a positive way.
