Board and Community Involvement

Why do you live in the Columbus Region?

I was born and raised in Central Ohio, went away for college and migrated to Texas upon graduation, then took the opportunity to move back to continue my career in economic development. The past decade has reassured me that there is no better place in the country to receive an education, work for a world-class employer, and enjoy arts and entertainment.

Why do you work in economic development?

I believe in the concentrated effort to improve the economic vitality and quality of life in a community through job creation and investment. The economic development profession is exceptional, and gives unique exposure to priorities and needs of companies, whether they’re new to the market or an existing entity. Every conversation and passing day is different.
