Making healthy, raw beauty products accessible
We all have a story to tell. For balm skincare founder, Lindsey Moeller, this story is one of devastation, frustration and inspiration. After losing her mother to an environmental cancer in 2015, Moeller embarked on a mission to change the personal care industry so that more people could have access to healthy, raw products that don’t put their well-being at risk for the sake of beauty.
balm’s four-step raw skincare regimen was born November 2016 in Columbus and consists of only raw, organic ingredients—absolutely no synthetics and preservatives. Moeller, an alumna of The Ohio State University who has conducted independent cancer research at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital, is constantly encouraged to continue her mission thanks to the Columbus Region’s interest in healthy living and commitment to innovation in medical research. Primarily an e-commerce operation, balm relies on the Region’s logistics partners, allowing for the fastest reach to customers pursuing a healthy, natural lifestyle.
