Donna earned her bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Maryland with a focus in strategic and entrepreneurial management, and is currently a PhD candidate at Ohio University.
As director of development for the City of Dublin, Ohio, she is a member of the executive team and oversees the divisions of Economic Development, Building Standards, Land Use and Long Range Planning and Review Services. She brings over 25 years experience in managing a combination of municipal, academic and commercial planning, design and construction projects and was instrumental in her former role as director at Ohio University in establishing the Ohio University campus in the heart of the West Innovation District in Dublin. In addition to her leadership role in Smart Cities and Intelligent Communities initiatives, Donna actively promotes innovation and entrepreneurship through membership in the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), Women for Economic Leadership and Development (WELD), and on multiple boards and committees.
Donna taught pottery classes at the Cornell University ceramic studio and still enjoys creating clay and glass art pieces in her spare time.
