Originally from Parma, Ohio, Mr. Raiff attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland where he earned a bachelors of science in accounting. He obtained his teaching credentials from John Carroll University and master’s in educational administration from Cleveland State University. Mr. Raiff taught mathematics, business, and technology courses at Maple Heights High School, Parma High School and Independence High School for nine years.

Mr. Raiff began his administrative career serving as assistant principal at Bexley High School, Westerville South High School, and principal at Westerville Central High School before coming to the Olentangy Local Schools. With Olentangy, Mr. Raiff was the assistant principal at Olentangy High School for three years, principal at Liberty High School for four years and the chief academic officer for the district for five years. He is the first internal candidate to ever be promoted to the position of superintendent with the Olentangy Local Schools.

Mr. Raiff is the proud husband of Katie Raiff, a fifth grade teacher at Freedom Trail Elementary School. He and his wife have four children.
