Adam has been with the firm for twenty years and focuses on Economic Development, Credits and Incentives. In this role, Adam is responsible for coordinating with his clients all global, federal, state, and local incentives and credit efforts. Adam assists both for-profit and government public sector clients with Economic Development matters.
Adam also serves as EY’s State of Ohio Government & Public Sector (“GPS”) Tax Account Leader. He is responsible for overall communication and coordination of all of EY’s tax services as it relates to the State of Ohio, its municipalities, and agencies.
Prior to joining EY, Adam served as law clerk to the Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio
Project example: Adam recently assisted an Ohio municipality in understanding the total economic and tax benefits related to Amazon’s proposed second North American Headquarters. The deliverable showed the direct, indirect, and induced jobs and tax revenue as well as multiple incentives modeling scenarios. The municipality used the EY report to respond to Amazon.
Project example: Adam recently assisted an Ohio county in reviewing its Economic Development strategy. His team conducted over 50 interviews with the community stakeholders and recommended changes to the county’s programs and approach based on leading Economic Development practices, which the county agreed with and ultimately implemented
Project example: Adam and his team were engaged by a school district in Ohio to apply for Diesel Engine Replacement Grant funds for the replacement of several school buses. The team successfully secured a $1m grant for the school district
