Fashion and Apparel in the Columbus Region

The Columbus Region has a major influence on the worldwide fashion industry, with some of the world’s biggest retail brands headquartered in the Region and a burgeoning creative class behind one-of-a-kind designs.

Creative Class, Creative Energy

The Columbus Region is home to the third highest concentration of fashion designers in the U.S., topped only by New York City and Los Angeles.

CCAD Fashion Show

To continue filling that talent pipeline, the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD)—which counts 60 to 70 percent of alumni as remaining in the Region—offers a fashion design program ranked No. 10 in the country by Fashionista while The Ohio State University also offers a Bachelor of Science in fashion and retail studies that connects students with skills and connections to thrive.

Local talent is behind a booming fashion culture with events like CMH Fashion Week, Fashion Meets Music Festival and Highball Halloween.

Setting the World's Trends

Brands based in the Columbus Region are providing quality goods to consumers around the world.
