Our Partners

Mid-Ohio Development Exchange

The Columbus Region is a community of economic development allies rich in diversity, geography and demographics. Our success as a Region is built upon a foundation of collaboration for economic growth—supported by an integral group called the Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE).

Established in 1995, MODE is the regional economic development authority for the Columbus Region. The membership includes municipalities, counties and other public sector organizations throughout this Region. Private-sector businesses and utility providers also participate as associate members of this group.

The concept of regional cooperation is strong in the Columbus Region. We work collaboratively to become more educated about developments tools, regulations affecting development and policies of competitors for our Region.

MODE Vision

Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE) will be a catalyst for regional economic development, in partnership with community and business leaders.

What We Do

MODE was founded to attract new businesses to the area, work with existing businesses on retention and expansion needs, improve the education and training of development professionals; and address issues that affect the development and business community. It provides opportunities for collaboration in the areas of education and marketing, and provides networking opportunities for economic development professionals on a regular basis.

MODE membership offers the opportunity to create partnerships with regional organizations and creates an environmnet for networking. Through relationships, MODE links its membership with peer advice and service refferals throughout the Region.
