Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE) Counties
The Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE) is a membership organization of local economic development organizations from throughout the 11-county Columbus Region. MODE provides programming meant to increase awareness of economic development issues and best practices to continue to strengthen and grow local economies throughout Central Ohio.
MODE membership offers the opportunity to create partnerships with regional organizations and creates an environment for networking.
Join us for a special October MODE program, Wednesday, October 29th. TechColumbus is graciously sponsoring and hosting Barry Moltz, a well-known entrepreneur and economic development expert, to speak to MODE and their guests.
As we all know, helping launch a new business down the Highway of Success is incredibly rewarding. But what happens when the engine starts to sputter, the business drives off the Highway, gets stuck in mud, and there are vultures on the road sign which reads “Valley of Death Straight Ahead”?
How do you as an economic development professional provide immediate roadside assistance and help business owners get back on the Highway of Success?
In an entertaining and humorous approach, Mr. Moltz will discuss ways in which we as economic development professionals can help start-ups and small businesses through these difficult periods – in essence – getting them unstuck and rolling again.
This event is free to members and non-members alike to help spread the important message.
RSVP to Stephanie Bosco at email@example.com before October 22nd. MODE programs are open to the public. Lunch is included.
