The Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE) is a membership organization of local economic development organizations from throughout the 11-county Columbus Region. MODE provides programming meant to increase awareness of economic development issues and best practices to continue to strengthen and grow local economies throughout Central Ohio.

MODE membership offers the opportunity to create partnerships with regional organizations and creates an environment for networking.

MODE Programming

May Program

MODE will be offering export training on two occassions this spring:

During this training, you’ll learn more about the importance of global opportunities to companies, the numerous resources available and how to tap into those resources for companies in your communities to grow their international reach.  This is an ideal training for those on your team that conduct Business Retention and Expansion visits.

Hear from a variety of experts including Deborah Scherer, Director of Global Markets, Mark Klein from the Export-Import Bank of the US, Wes Aubihl of ODSA and Roberta Ford of the US Department of Commerce.

Lunch is included in either training options. Please choose one date to attend.  RSVP is required to Stephanie Bosco at 614-225-6935 or!  Training is free for all MODE members. Non-members may pay $20 via check or cash.

Save the Date

On July 17 MODE will team up with OEDA and JobsOhio for a statewide midyear briefing. This event will take place in Dublin. After the briefing, MODE will be hosting an evening social at the Columbus Clippers game. Family and friends of MODE are welcome to join us for a fun evening of baseball on the 17th. More information will be available very soon on both of these events!

MODE educational programs take place generally every other month and are a great place to network with fellow economic developers. Programs are open to members and the public. The cost for non-members is $20 per person. Attendees must RSVP to Stephanie Bosco. Lunch is included in the program. RSVP to
