Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy in Columbus

Together with its partners, Columbus 2020 has developed Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the Columbus Region.

What is a CEDS?

The CEDS is a technical document with set government requirements that are necessary for applying for U.S. Economic Development Adminstration grants. Designed to bring together public and private sectors, the CEDS provides an economic roadmap to diversify the Columbus Region economy and identify regional priorities.

To the right, you'll find the original Columbus Region CEDS completed in 2012, along with the most recent version that was updated in September 2014. This strategy serves as a catalyst to refine and focus regional economic development efforts throughout the 11-county region.
